Professional Career

He formally joined the Mad TV cast in 2002 as a featured performer for the ninth season of his career. He would fill the position of Spishak Spokesperson that Pat Kilbane and David Herman had previously held. Josh Meyers is also well known for his celebrity pantomimes, which have featured Owen Wilson, Eminem, Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel, several ‘N Sync members, and child actor Anna Nicole Smith.

His appearances on Fox’s Mad TV were aired in direct opposition to those of his sister Seth on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. In a scene from Saturday Night Live’s season 28, Seth arrives on Weekend Update to chat with his father and counsels him to cancel Mad TV so that he may concentrate on Seth instead. Meyers appeared as Napoleon Dynamite and the character from Wedding Crashers played by Owen Wilson in the independent film Date Movie in 2006. He appeared in College Road Trip in 2008 as a supporting actor and shared the stage with Pee-small Herman in the 2010 Broadway revival of The Pee-small Herman Show.
